    More in Southern Ocean than I had seen. These measure (pressure) depth, temperature and salinity. Gotta do that everywhere. Next gen will add pH, and nitrate and phosphate if they can manage. Biology begins. Several more steps to make before autonomous eDNA can be done anywhere. Here's how not to begin:

    Sample bottles shall be uniquely labelled before they and their ziploc baggie homes get autoclaved together. Hairy hands shall wear fresh blue nitrile gloves for all contacts. These are picograms, kids, and PCR will inflate all trash DNA added en route. Happy image is way too casual. But the thing does appear doable.

    Yes - plants thrive in CO2 - but what good is it when rain forests are continually bulldozed & plankton killed off.
