I have view other posts that are in the correlated neighborhood you have 181-186 temps for coolant . I have measure mine on Texas early summer with temp of 190F.. ...What temp do you damage critical engine and transaxle componets??

When the engine coolant gets above boiling point, that is bad. What is your odometer reading, has the engine coolant been replaced at 100K miles, and have you checked the fluid level in the radiator to make sure it is full?

Check when the car has not run for several hours, hot fluid can scald you.
