Noise under the steering wheel on all 2008's

I have an '08 with a scraping sound in steering column. I can only hear it when driving at low speed when ICE is shutdown. I thought it sounded like somekind of brushes or feedback sensor lightly touching the steering shaft. It is very faint and easy to miss. I would bet others have this and just haven't noticed it. It had me concerned as well but it was some consolation when I read this thread and realized I was not alone regarding the '08. I will note it at my first check up so it is on record. If it fails during warranty or after it I'll be sure it was noted from day 1. I'm hoping it is normal on '08.
