NJ Prius Meet - Sat. April 28th @ Noon in lovely Keyport, NJ

If you're still thinking about doing this, the quickest route is probably the one MapQuest suggests. Take 81 North towards Allentown and then pick up 78 East. Take 78 East to I-287 South to the Garden State Parkway South.

The other option would be to take the PA Turnpike East to the NJ Turnpike. Take the NJ Turnpike North to I-195 East (Exit 7A - Shore Points). Take 195 East to the Garden State Parkway North (look for signs). I'm think this way will be longer, though. My wife grew up at the shore and went to Gettysburg College. She said it used to take 3-1/2 to 4 hours to get to school. And the meet will be another 1/2 hour north from us.

 

Yep, I'm still able to make it. It looks like MapQuest and Google are the same...I'm travelling the 81 to 78 to 287 route. Leaving at 9 am or earlier...

Well, turns out I cannot make this one after all. Since I've volunteered so much the last couple of weeks with our town's flood problem (just declared a national disaster by dubya, finally, these people can get some aid), and we were out again yesterday handing out information from FEMA. Family duties backed up and I need the time to catch up with both my to-do list AND my family.

Hopefully next time.

I had a great time at the meet! Great bunch of people and Seaside Pearl seems to be the popular color...nice!

I am SO glad I got to make it and meet other Prius drivers. I WILL be organizing a Harrisburg and surrounding area gathering/group...I have ALOT of moving/relocating things yet to happen, so maybe by middle of summer.

Thanks so much everyone organizing the meet-up, it made my weekend. Just to brag a bit I did end up at 53 MPG with 370 miles roundtrip.

And anyone interested in my mods just drop me a line and I would love to help out, etc.
