Hello All, I am a brand new Prius owner. My previous car was a muscle car, and I had serious apprehensions about going to the Prius, but after several test drives, and now having my new Prius for over a week, I am totally hooked! I picked up a 2016 Prius 4 Touring loaded in Blizzard Pearl and Black Interior including the center console. I absolutely love that I am getting 50.4mpg on average vs the 18-20mpg I used to get in my Challenger RT. The new Prius is actually roomier than my previous car, and zippy and fast enough for driving in LA and the traffic of LA fwy's. Love the new technology incorporated into the new Prius too! I am happy I converted to the Prius 4 Touring Hybrid! No the Prius is not a sports sedan, but my Touring 4 is a Sporty Hybrid!
I've seen this pic before (Corolla winter rim thread??). That's ok. It's a great shot and worth showing off again.
Here's mine. Picked it up this morning. They didn't have the mats or scuff plates, so have to take it back on Friday. One issue - my old Sony Ericsson (non smart!) phone, which has served me well for a few years, connects but won't make calls. Pretty sure it's because it has an older version of Bluetooth - so good excuse to get a new phone with wireless charging!
Hi im new. Heres my (new to me) prius after driving in some rare los angeles rain. Had it a month now and love it
Purchased this 2008 Touring model with Package #6 today to replace the blue 2006 that was totaled last month.
Zinger (my car's name) is a 2007 working car for a mail route. 70 miles gravel roads and the rest paved. I don't have any nice photos of her, just these as I try to figure out how to arrange mail when I first started using her last month. I have the Toyota dealer to thank for telling me other carriers use Prius and Prius Chat carriers to thank for ideas on how to set up a route car. I am LOVING the 43 mpg I'm getting right now on route. My first day out we had 7"-10" of snow and it handled surprisingly well though my boss gave me permission to stay off unplowed roads since we are so rural and cell service is poor. I am still working out quirks (had the black out dash thing hit this week) but so far so good. It is a salvage from MN I bought last August but only started using on the route after I broke my Impala's frame. My customers are real interested in this "new" vehicle. I am loving not having to go 10+ miles one way to a gas station every other day!
Just a pic of my newly acquired 2012 Prius Plug-in. This is my second Prius. Our first was a 2007 Touring #6 that has been outstanding and has even undergone battery rebuild by me. It currently has 132K miles on it with plenty of life left. The new PIP has 34K miles and I'm very happy with it thus far. Averaged 218MPG on my first trip into the office with it this morning.
I've had her for less than a month (but she's already been hit and repaired once). Got her back this week just in time for her first wash.
I finally got a Prius! Here she is. 2013. Has 91k, but was well taken care of and feels new. This is a pic from the dealer site I'll get more pics tomorrow I was too busy driving it today
Sweet! She's a beauty. Maybe you'd be interested in doing a G-Sport retrofit. I think this one is already your color: For Sale - Prius G's bumper | PriusChat
