Here's some of mine! Fresh from the dealer! No interior mods or anything. But I'd like to add some. She's a beauty. I real gem just as is. But if you're curious about the possibilities, check out the #nhp10 and #アクア tags on Instragram.
I just bought a 2015 Prius v Pkg Two, two days ago. I drove it to school for the first time today. It drove very well, and most importantly, my two dogs give it a big paws up! In the background is my white 2013 Jetta TDI that I traded in for the Prius v.
With the 2015 Prius being sold at firesale prices of $5K under MSRP, finally traded in my old Honda Civic that I've been driving for over a dozen years...hopefully this beauty will last me a lot longer! Also can't wait to take it car camping soon, was thrilled a full twin-sized air mattress can fit back there
Bought my first Prius this weekend. 2012. My gf bought hers brand new in 2012 AND my brother bought a 2012 the same day that I did. Guess we're a 3 Prius family now!
Just got my 2012 Five a few weeks ago. Really enjoying it so far and can't believe the great mileage I've been getting! So far so good. ;-)
My first post here at Priuschat. Here is our brand new 2015 Prius Four with the Deluxe Solar Package. $8400 under MSRP, not even including the above average allowance for our trade-in. (With gas prices as low as they are, and with the 2016s right around the corner, now is the time to buy! And I've got a hunch gas prices won't be staying where they are). I didn't even think I'd use it, but I absolutely love the HUD. It actually is brighter than what the camera shows. In the photo it's showing an upcoming turn, which actually always looks like the exact geometry of the upcoming intersection, along with a countdown in miles and then hundreds of feet. (Yes, I did pull over and stop to take the pic!) When not approaching a turn, it shows the speedometer, plus the "Eco-bar" chart. I can have this Eco-bar chart up on the HUD, the "Energy" chart on the upper display, and the fuel consumption on the right side of the split MFD screen. That's a lot of info all at the same time!
These are the things I bring up when someone tries to bag me for buying a prius.............they shut up pretty fast! Enjoy your car!!
Hello all! Just joined the group here. My family & I purchased our very first Prius at the beginning of the year (2015 Prius v (lowercase v for the Prius v wagon) Three). Couldn't be happier about our purchase. We recently added a rack & skybox to the car in preparation for a family road trip we are due to take down to Arizona in about three weeks. I'll post some photos for everyone to admire of the progression up to the point it is at now (naked roof, w/roof rack & roof rack w/skybox).
Really love how the front of the Prius v looks in blue, aggressive without trying too hard like the front of the 2016 Prius... Goodluck on your roadtrip, considering a rear-mounted hitch on mine for future trips.
Just traded in a sturdy and loved but gas guzzler of an SUV. It's a lot of getting used to in driving height, driving style (learning to maximize the hybrid engine which is why I'm here in the first place), some major blind spot issues to learn to work around (rear view mirror is bad with my height, and of course getting over the compulsion to park a foot from the curb with a three foot cushion in front and back. Plus the acceleration on the freeway is so smooth compared to my last 13 years of SUV, I'm going 80 on the freeway before I realize it. It's a 2015 Two that I got into a three year lease very cheaply on a Black Friday Managers Special while I save for a house next summer. Was going to go Four in thinking that if I buy it eventually, it would be my mid-40s car that I wanted to be loaded up, but I'll still be mid-40s when it's up and who knows where Prius will be by then, what with other makes catching up and Tesla pushing the top end tech. Anyway, thanks in advance for all the info I'm going to glean out of here. I should throw in a non-dusk shot of it because the blue is unbelievable.
"Pri"...To give you some context though, I'm a very passionate track & field fan. Living in Oregon, a short drive away from Eugene (TrackTown USA), knowing the history behind the University of Oregon Track & Field program & the impact Steve Prefontaine (whom people often called "Pre" for short) had on it...this was my way of honoring one of the greatest American distance runners to ever live.
Oh man, I wanted one so bad with those b*tched out wheels on the Five. Still, the PiP alloys are growing on me.
