Newbies - Let's See Some Pics!

Hello all. Im as new as they come. Picked mine up from Craigslist. 2010 Prius 4. Had it for about 2 weeks now. Still learning everything and planning on getting rid of the JBL no NAV radio in exchange for for a 7 or 8 inch JBL compatible radio of some sort. Ill check the Audio thread and see whats good. Also been looking at Aimgain Lexus front clip and rear finisher if they dont add too much weight and the price is right.

 

Here's my new Prius C, package 2. Bought it in mid September. Love it so far! I commute to work by bus, but have enjoyed taking it on weekend excursions to the coast, mountains, etc. One of the pics was taken at Kerry Park, overlooking the Seattle skyline and Space needle. Took a friend with me on its maiden 'cruise' around town.

 

Got our silver PriiTwo 6days ago here in NorCal! Our 3rd car and the first hybrid in the family and lovin it. Just added the chrome side molding this morning, ditched the dealer labor charge of $130, more cash for the wallet. Windows tinted in a protint shop that did a great job. Added the Prius bumper applique, AW cargo mat, and AW floormats!

Taken by my salesman, who requested a sexy pose, which I obliged since I'm utterly incapable of turning my sexy off anyhow.

 

its kinda like a prius, it gets ok mileage when it's not in boost, but when its time to pass someone going 65 on the free way, drop to 3rd and yell bye bye as they get a poof of catless exhaust.

 

Had it for 3 days. In Australia they call the colour 'Stealth' Will need to get the windows tinted. Very happy overall. Done apx 500km and so far getting 4.7litres per 100km which converts to just over 50 MPG. Might have to pump up the tyres tommorow!

Just bought a second-hand 60k 2010 Prius 3rd generation (model ZVW30 here in Australia) after trading up from a Yaris.

I have driven the 2nd generation alot, however very impressed so far with the 3rd gen, particularly with the new "hybrid System Indicator" mode that encourages efficient driving and "hyper miling".

Took a weekend trip down the great ocean road here, and averaged 3.7L/100km on the 180km. I'm find around town I get around 4.2-4.4L depending on trip duration (I can see the traction battery recharge in short trips really kills efficiency).

Looking forward to learning more on the forums!

Its my Lawn, sometimes used to Park the extra Cars when the Garage has is Full with 6 Cars.

 

I'll be driving down to Geelong water park over Christmas in our prius v, I'm hoping to get about 4.6 (every day school drop offs average about 5.5)

 

Took delivery of my Blue Prius 4 at the end of November and finally got around to taking pictures . For the first time, I wish my daily commute was longer.

Hahaha not really. It's mine . A '98 Toyota Camry that, if not for my love of my Prius, I would have kept driving until I dropped of old age. Gotta love that Toyota reliability. Since my parents are still deciding how exactly they want to go about selling it so right now, it acts as a buffer between me and the rest of the cars and allows me to keep my car ding free in my apartment parking lot.

 

I want to post pictures but the only ones I have handy are of when I swung the poor thing into a pole. I don't think anyone would want to see abuse photos!

Well, last Wednesday my Chevy HHR got totaled. it was the second HHR I killed. So after 7 years of owning an HHR off on the "car purchase under duress"
Five days later I took delivery of a 2010 Prius III (i think) leather, nav, no sunroof, no radar cruise. Blizzard white with grey interior. 40K miles after taxes tags, ect. paid $16,600.

so far I got the blue tooth working, ipod hooked up, homelink programed for the garage door, pulled the wheel covers. And have gotten frustrated with the voice operation of the phone...seems to take way too long just to make a make phone call via voice.

looking forward to learning more about the car and having fun on the site.

fwiw, my wifes car is a 2008 Saturn Vue Greenline (hybrid)

 

Bought mine tonight.. Coming from a supercharged frontier getting 13mpg.. The dealership went to put 25$in and it wouldn't hold it. I laughed I've been spending 60$every four days.. Looking forward to this change.

every vehicle I have had has tint... gonna have to splurge I think.

I agree every car has to have tint. I haul things i don't want people to look in and see.
