The decals that say "Prius" and "Gas/Electric Hybrid" were purchased through the priuschat store! The dalmation spots were picked up during a sidewalk sale, from a little funky store in downtown Olympia. They are intended, apparently, for decorating a kid's bedroom or something. We used two packages.
You're just looking for excuses to post pictures of your lovely wife. Feel free to post them as often as you like.
Yes I'm a little slow I know. How did you mount the bird on the roof? Double sided tape or screws? And how does it affect mileage? Looks sweet though!
Here is mine. Seaside Blue, package 6, drove it home on March 26, 2009. So far after 422 miles, we're averaging 47.4 MPG. Whoo-hoo!
Hi everyone! I just got my Prius 3/18 and took both of my dogs out for a ride this weekend for the first time. I volunteer alot with the greyhound group that I adopted my dogs from, so we are always going somewhere. I almost bought a Scion XB since I thought they would be more comfortable in there. Looking at the two of them, they look pretty comfortable to me! I love this car more and more every day.
Hi everyone! I lurked this forum since Monday of last week, joined on Friday, and bought a 2009 Prius on Saturday. I went from completely ignorant of the Prius ($6k battery anyone?), to wanting a Prius badly, to being a proud newb! I found this forum really helpful, so thank you everyone! Some stats: Magnetic Grey, Package #2, just under $24k off the lot, and getting 48MPG on the first tank. Lost my first PIP at about 170 miles.
I purchased a 2008 Black fully loaded version about a month ago. I've been having lots of fun learning to drive it, and absolutely love the car. Check out my consumption screen for a 150km trip today! Bruce Edit: Wow...sorry about the file size...first time photo post
Hey all! I just picked up my NEW (to me) 2001! This is my first ever car payment, and after doing a ton of digging I think we found the best bang for our buck! I decided on the Prius due to the fact that my '94 Corolla just turned 207,000 miles and is still running strong.. I was trying to dig around and I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction, are there any cool extras I can look into for my classic ride? I would love some sort of aftermarket stereo, but I really dont dig tearing out the entire dash to do so. Anyway, glad to be a member of the Prius family, I already cant wait to get another!
Okay here ya go! But it's very very dirty. This was in South Dakota near Mt. Rushmore on the road trip home from Kentucky (where I bought my Prius) to Washington State. Mid March 2009. 2007 Barcelona Red, Package #5
Is that a 4 door? I almost didn't think it was a Pri, but then I saw the inside and knew it was. Good luck trying to find an aftermarket stereo - the dash looks like it was built around the factory installed cassette player. Welcome to the family!
I absolutely love your dogs!!! I love Greyhounds so much. I also live in Connecticut... We adopted a Greyhound from Shoreline Star and took in a dog that was adopted from somewhere in Farmington, if memory serves right. They're such great dogs and it's a great feeling to adopt them.
Cool dogs! Any dog lover is a friend of mine - most any dog lover anyway! The Prius back end is a good fit for your dogs. JohnC :welcome:
What I actually meant was 4 door sedan, vs current pri model 4 door hatchback. I agree that 4 doors are a must. I HATE 2 doors as even if you only have someone in the back rarely it is still a pain. Enjoy the new car.
Magnetic Grey, nice choice. That was my first choice until I saw the Silver Pine Mica in person. How you enjoying it so far?? :welcome:
Ahhhh, They are the cutest ever, well, except for my baby girl of course Welcome to the Prius family :welcome:
My home made instrument box (made a few years prior to buying the Prius) fits perfectly in the trunk. What a happy coincidence!
