Newbies - Let's See Some Pics!

The camera is not picking up the color as it really is, but here's some idea of a Spectra Blue Mica -

 

Magnetic Gray was one of 4 colors preferenced when filling out a waiting list form.

 

Believe it or not, I purchased mine in May, before all they had wait lists. Granted, you took what was next, but there was no wait list. I am thrilled with it though, and just yesterday had my first service done.

 

Good to Go

I've had this a week but didn't want to drive it (much) until I got the clear bra, window tint and side moldings installed. Mud flaps and window shade are on order and, based on the fast shipments from Priuschat so far, should be here shortly. Here it is:

 

Finally got around to shooting some pictures of the new baby, a Spectra Blue Mica package #5, currently named "Prihicle."

A few mods are the shark fin antenna, front deflector, mud flaps, BT Plate, window deflectors. Kept the wheel rings on, and the beeper is still on.

We love it! Haven't had this much fun driving in a long time. Getting a steady 50 mpg doesn't hurt at all. (My other vehicle is a Tundra.)

I was wondering: Does anyone think I went a bit too nuts on aftermarket doo-dads?

On a recent road trip, we must've seen over 125 Prii, yet none of them had side moldings or a hood deflector. One or two had a Shark Fin. Only 1 out of all of them was Spectra Blue Mica.

I do not know... I really like the changes. It seems to snazz it up quite a bit.

 

I am an owner of a 2005 Salsa Red Prius with 100,000 miles and a salvaged 2007 PHEV Prius black with package 8. It is going to be a very cool car.

Here's our 2 day old Barcelona Red (3R3) Prius next to our old Matrix which I think is a Salsa Red. I've complained to anyone who'll listen that Toyota web sites don't show actual pictures of red Prius' just Photoshop colourized versions. Then I took this picture and had a hard time matching the colour to what I see out the window. This is close.

 

I really like the barcelona red especially with the gray interior. Thanks for posting pics.

 

Wow, great pic. You can really see the difference in the shades of red. I didn't particularly like the red before but that Prius looks great.

Could somebody tell me how you post larger photos in the post, rather than thumbnails linking to the larger photo? Some posts have larger easy to see photos in them. What's the HTML code for that? As someone on this thread advised, I used the paperclip attachment button and uploaded the photo, and what i got was a little thumbnail. How do i put the full sized photo in the post?

 

Just bought my first Prius. A used silvergreen metallic -06 with the Swedish "Business"-package, plus engine block heater. Been on the roads for 21000 miles (35000km).

The dealer is installing parking sensors, putting on winter tires and servicing it, so i won't get my hands on the car for another week.
