Agreed. Although, I've always wondered why NC doesn't require them in the front. Wouldn't that help the police locate stolen cars, etc better, or give anyone more chance of getting the plate number in case of a crime? Still, it does look better.
It's a cost issue. Michigan went to one plate to save money: half the number of plates means less money spent making and shipping plates. Tom
Here's mine. 2 weeks old. Don't let the pics fool ya. Spectra Blue looks even better when the sun brings out the brighter blue. See post #361, page 37 here, pic #3, courtesy of 'Spectra'
I really like the Spectra. But, I couldn't wait that long to get one. They are really rare. Congrats!
I got lucky. Technically I didn't wait 2 mos. and 3 weeks. Got on the list Early June, got cold feet, asked to be taken off the list. Early August, cash deposit at another dealer and back on list at original dealer on same day. 2 1/2 weeks later original dealer says - they never deleted your name from June, there's a Spectra Blue #5 coming in couple days for you. Rest is history.
What I want to know is how you got it in that parking spot? As much as I love the prius I have yet to be able to parallel park. I was never any good at it to begin with, but it seems much harder with the hatch view. Thankfully I rarely have to do it.
Must be nice to pick a color. I took whatever you they had coming in. And luckily I'm very happy with it.
SO funny you say that... http://priuschat.com/forums/newbie-forum/52988-newbie-introducing-herself.html#post701349
