Greetings from the Republic of Texas! Just picked up a 2012 Four with the Gulf States TSS package. 163K miles and still looks pretty good except for a light swipe on the R/R door. Have filters, oil, tranny fluid, and gaskets to get my maint schedule started fresh. jacking this thing might be interesting as it sits fairly low. looking forward to figgerin how this thing ticks!
My pearl white AWD beauty. My first Toyota, and first hybrid of any sort. What a beautiful relaxing car to drive and so easy to place on the road. I really am glad I decided to go for it. Only 2,300 kms so far but average according to my spreadsheet is 4.6 l/100 kms - half of my previous car. So I am very happy indeed, also with the friendly Toyota garage.
Picked up a 2020 Prius Prime this weekend just before all the shutdown. Maybe not the best time to purchase a car with what’s going on in the world, but I’ve been very happy with it regardless. My previous car which i still have is a 2010 Prius IV. Owned it for 9 years now and will get continued use with my fiancé. Been a long time lurker of these forums and it and all you members have always been very helpful
Good Evening, bought my first Prius believe this or not I traded in my Ram 3500 Cummins diesel for a 2017 Prius ECo. It has been a big change. I don’t miss my truck at the fuel pump though.
NICE! May I ask the made/model of those rims? Did you get the ride with em already installed? If not, did they affect MPG?
Howdy Prius People of the world! I've been researching replacing my 16 yr old Motel Mazda for the last 8 months going back & fourth between performance/power or efficiency/environmental impact and picked up a 2018 Prius Prime Premium - absolutely LOVE it. Just got the windows blacked out for stealth car camping and ready for a local Walmart parking lot near you (unless they kick me out since they don't allow car campers anymore). If you see me cruising around like a granny in Eco Mode say hi! And I just had to order those bumper stickers ;-) Jerry
It is the standard Swiss 15" rims and tyres Pirelli Cinturato Winter 195/65R15 91 T. It came on summer Bridgestone Turanza T002 215/45/R17 87 W 17" rims and was swapped for the winter ones for delivery to me. So far 2300 kilometres travelled 4.72 litres/per 100 kilometres, 59 UK MPG, 49.833598 US MPG Above figures from my spreadsheet. The car shows 4.6 l/100kms.
I am a Prius Newbie have had a great first 100 miles car has been fun to get to know. It was a great deal at $4400 out the door. 140,000 miles and batteries are what they should be. Already planned first mod...a shark fin antenna.
Well, not sure why that happened. Must’ve accidentally selected 2 pics. Anyways, that’s a pic of a church bell tower in Vigan, Philippines. Sorry about that!
Hello! I'm new here from South Australia, Recently bought my first hybrid, a 2009 Prius ex-taxi with 415,000km on the clock. Already started making the most of lockdown and converting it to an overland/camping rig, will start a dedicated thread in the appropriate section once I've spent a bit more time on this site.
Only 175k miles? That's just barely broken in for a Prius! If the maintenance history is good, the car is in good condition physically, and both batteries are good, it would be a bargain. For example, my 2004 is approaching 200k miles and still has the original hybrid battery. Runs great, lasts a long time. -Graeme- 2004 Prius with >190,000 miles. Sent ?.
I still feel the Gen 4 is a cool looking car. I just love mine, every time I look at it, I think wow.
