I see what looks like an EZPASS. Does PA have green ones like NY? If so, I'd get one if you can. I'm still waiting for my NY pass, but think it's worth the wait.
Yes, that's a 2000 Camry LE. I really liked that car too. But my new Prius is more fun to drive. The Camry will be going to my son. He doesn't drive much. He's close enough to work that he can walk. So the Camry will be going into semi-retirement.
I traded my 2004 XLE camry for my Prius and have been very happy with it. I drove a camry for 14 years and was torn between the camry hybrid and my Prius. Glad to say the Prius won out.
Until I get the usual accessories like flame decals on the doors five foot chrome exhaust extensions, fox tails, dice on the mirrors fur line seats, baby on board signs, and the other usual useless crap..... this is the picture of my beautiful wife, doggy in Prius

Black is good!!! I could have gone for black, but it had to be blue this time. BTW, what is that thing on the roof of your house (inquiring minds need to know JohnC
It's a solar panel hot water heater. Really comes in handy during hurricane season when there's no power for 2 weeks in a row and everyone else in the neighborhood is taking cold showers except for you.
Well, thank you very much for your explanation of the fixture on your roof! That is a very smart thing to have - might not help me here on Shady Lane but in a sunny location it would be a great thing to have! My curiosity is cured, thanks to you. Take Care & Enjoy Living! JohnC
Ok guys, I just got home from a long day. Went to the dealership around 1:30 and got the paperwork squared away. A few notes: 1. they will try to sell you the extended warranty HARD. My person was almost to the point of being an nice person. I politely said that I could get it cheaper elsewhere, and he said "NO YOU CANT, I work for toyota and have never heard of anywhere else." Whatever. I will be purchasing the one via prius chat's discount. 2. The car is immaculate and my salesperson did a great job of giving me tips and what to look out for. I paid for a black, package #2, out the door including TT&L exactly 24,913 dollars. This is MSRP. I put my deposit down on May 15th (I was then #2 on the list) and received my car June 17th. Florence Toyota only receives approximately 1-2 Prius' a month. I will be happy to answer any questions. Now for the pics!
Nice to see all these new black cars. I loved my old black 94 (you read that right - 1994) camry XLE. For the size of it, it got great mileage. But now I'm driving the 2008 prius and loving it. 3rd tank today and depending on if you use actual calc or computer, it was either 51.5 MPG or 48.4. In recording the mileage I chose to use the computer readings for tracking. Happy driving to all you new owners.
dont buy that warranty today - wait until the 36k, 36months are almost up - keep your money in a cd for 3 years. then you can consider the warranty
Captain, Congrats on the car! I'm a little curious about your out the door cost. You mention it's MSRP; did you get the floor mats or any other post-factory options? I just got the call today that I will be getting a Mag Gray Pkg #2 and I get an MSRP of 24,309 from toyota.com w/o TT&L. Do you have a really low tax rate or somethin'?
my final cost out the door was 24,913. Car MSRP- 24,199 + Tax - $300 (SC law they can't charge more than 300 for new vehicle) + title and license $25 + "processing fees" (i don't know what these are, probably cushion) $389 bringing my total to 24913
Ahhh, there's the difference. Up here in the great state of Ohio, we pay actual sales tax rates on our cars, so we will add on 6.25% to our purchase price.
