I should have it in about a week. It's a 2013 with only 34,000 miles with extended warranty. My first hybrid and it's going to be weird knowing that in heavy standstill traffic the mpg will be higher than driving lol. I also drive Uber/Lyft on weekends and some weekday evenings after my regular job (5,000 miles/month the past 2, on track for 45,000 miles 2017). But with only 34k, it's going to be like a new one. It's the closest I've ever had to a new one. I've read they are highly dependable as well. Watching many awesome videos over the weekend on how to do certain things. I already ordered the Weather Tech mats for front, back, cargo. Originally I was approved (Carmax) for a 2014 same color, 86,000 miles but no sunroof/moonroof (which I REALLY wanted), no auto-park or adaptive cruise . It was also in LA which meant a $949 transfer fee. Then Sunday night I did another search and found this in KY. It has everything. However I've never sat in the back of one, but most people say they have more room inside than it looks outside....like Dr. Who's Tardis. Tardis...Prius....interesting.
Yeah, especially if you have the AC system right off and the windows down, it's pretty cool (and a bit depressing too): sitting amidst the idling dinosaurs. What are those rims btw, Scion, or?
Those are factory 17" rims on the Prius v Five (in Canada, it's the Touring or Touring & Technology packages)
I saw on Youtube that the rims we see there are actually covered up by those smooth wheel covers we normally see for mpg. The rims don't look too bad and I think I'll just leave it that way. Someone chime in on that as they do look different than in the video and can't tell but looks like covers won't fit on these?
Ah whoops, didn't recognize it was a "v. Maybe just lower level "v" have wheel cover style alloys? Those are nice, suitable for viewing rims, never had covers.
Hey everyone, My name is Michael. We just recently purchased a 2016 Prius Model Two. We got a decent deal for the mileage. The color we got it in is in silver. I am very new to the Prius but not new to Toyota. Can't wait to put on some accessories and mods down the line. We bought the car for 25k out the door. It only had 2700 miles on it when we purchased it. It seems like a good deal for the car. We traded our 2014 Toyota Highlander for the Prius because we needed a car that has better gas mileage. Great room considering it is a Prius. Looking forward to meeting you guys/girls. SM-G935P ?
Pick it up this evening. And what genuis decided that power seats weren't even an option on the v's but were on the other models? Now I may have to buy a set. Posted via the PriusChat mobile app.
I can't get steamed about something like power seats, certainly wouldn't start swapping out the furniture to remedy.
Lol....thats ironic because at work I am using software at work named Remedy. Posted via the PriusChat mobile app.
Hi everyone. I was in the market for a new car as I will be commuting a lot more to college that's further from where I live. Everyone and their mother recommended the Toyota Corolla or the Civic as they are four cylinder and save gas. Well... I was thinking that while they might be gas savers, I could get something a little bit more efficient. Well on Sunday I went into Longo (fantastic place, huge) and walked away - or drove away - in a brand new 2017 Prius C Two - Magnetic Grey Metallic. I'm currently breaking it in and it's at 150 or so miles so far. But yesterday I visited some family, kind of far from where I am at, and I reached the first 100 miles. I was astounded when I got there when I read 70 MPG. More like OMG. Coming from a 1996 Toyota Avalon.
When you got 70mpg. Was that from regular driving? I am new as well and I have a 2016 Two. I am only averaging 63/64 mpg. SM-G935P ?
After tint install Saturday. This car is fun to drive and has plenty of space. Posted via the PriusChat mobile app.
Looks great. If you are interested in showing it off locally or getting together with other Prius owners on the forum, we occasionally do meet ups: Possible Monthly install meets. Bay Area-Fremont We'll be doing one in Lafayette soon.
