If you can't make Danny's party then come to Hybridfest. You can test drive all the hybrids manufactured and see for yourself your mileage. You could also talk with at least two of the Prius MPG Marathon drivers for tips on how to take a little off your heavy foot and increase your potential mpg.

I thought it's better to get the speed up to the speed limit as fast as possible then let the CC or glide it would get better mileage?
i notice from 0-40KM, the screen show 10-20L/100KM. but past 40KM. it will drop to 7-10L/KM. then once i hit the speed limite (city 60KM or 50KM) i let the CC take over. which i get between 3-6L/100KM. or on the highway, once i hit 100KM. i let the CC take over.
please let me know if i am wrong at this?

slow to moderate acceleration is, technically, more fuel efficient. But most of us use moderate to brisk as it's almost as good and is much more traffic friendly and more natural.

"As fast as possible" is definately the worst way.

Actually two of the Marathon Drivers are doing full presentations, but you'll need to register in order to attend that portion of Hybridfest. ($25) See the Hybridfest thread here at PriusChat for more details.
