The only noise heard in my Advanced are squeals of joy at how QUIET this car is!!

Oh, and since so many people have mentioned it in this post, the lumbar support is absolutely perfect! I have two crushed discs in my lower back causing me chronic back pain, and this is the first Toyota or Honda that has provided me with adequate lumbar support. I love my Prime Advanced!!

I have a driver's side door rattle when playing loud deep bass through the stereo. I can make it go away by pushing on the arm rest.

I'm still wondering about the extended door for the EVSE charger and the "extra" port next to the J1772 port, which seems to be just an extra wasted space to place the cover of the port while charging. Why different from the PIP? Possibly a supercharger idea like Tesla??

In time, someone here will come up with a super great idea of what to mod up for that empty port to the right. What is directly behind it, I wonder?

I think that there is nothing behind it. It is just a blank, so they could use the same opening as they use in Japan, where they have support for CHAdeMO fast charging.

No, no young man!! That port accepts the "little plastic plug" that is normally inserted in the electrical receptical!!. Try it, you'll like it. The idiot salesman told me it had to do with the Japanese virgin (sic) of the car!Har, har

It was a lot easier on the PiP. The "little plastic plug" was part of the cover, so when you closed the cover, the plastic plug went into place in the receptacle.

That would make way too much sense for a car of mine! I wonder why they didn't do that, it makes a lot more sense than a dangly plug that can get torn off way too easily.

I am not worried about tearing off the dangling plug. A couple of times I tried to close the lid with the plug still in its receptacle on the right. Seems like I could bend the lid if I pushed harder.

Wonder if it's possible to attach the cover to the door at just the right place so that when the door is closed, the cover is in place. Hmmm. Sounds like a project.

I haven't gotten my safety connect id or whatever you need to do this. When do you get it?

I think you actually have to contact them to get it, either through the SOS button in your car or calling them. I didn't get mine until I called.

fwiw, the eco dashboard app has never worked for me, but everything else does.

Right. Just press the SOS button and when the operator answers, state as many times as required that this is a registration call, and there is NO EMERGENCY!! The operator will already have your car info, so you then need to provide some personal info such as e-mail address and such. They will also give you the Safety Connect contract number for entry on the myentune.com web site, to activate the advanced Entune features .

Oh, and just FYI, you have to flip down the little bracket around the SOS button before you can push it. I fussed about 10 minutes trying to push the button, before I noticed the bracket. And then the registration process was painless.

Curious if anyone's OBD port moves/twists slightly in it's shortest dimension? i.e. from top to bottom as below.

    Top
    Code:
    ---------------
    - -
      -----------

    Bottom

Picture of mine attached, as best as I could get it. I can't reach enough far back because of clearance to see how it's held, but it definitely has some rocking play from top to bottom, it's fine from side to side. Noticed that when I plugged in an OBD tool for Carista features.

I noticed that too. The best I could figure out, the white plastic receptacle snaps into a metal bracket, and there is some play between the receptacle and the bracket.

Charging Port Door NOT Weather sealed. Here is another observation on the charging port door: My 2017 Prime Premium was outside during a light snow shower. Ice and snow formed around the fully closed port door. Once in the garage I opened the port door. Inside I found ice clumps frozen to the surfaces and also water that had melted all around the caps and molded surfaces. Water was even inside the cap that protects the female connectors. Severe hazard? Cause for recall? What are the risks of a short and damage to the vehicle systems and injury to the user?
