The blizzard Pearl white color is $220 extra on every single Toyota product.

Yah you're right. I think that the email was intended to just be a stay in touch and don't worry thing but frankly, lots of you didn't get it. I don't think it's cause for alarm. There will be plenty of notification both here at PC and thru my own communication as well. I'll be letting my buyers know for sure!

I'm surprised you are all being so gentlemanly and polite. With so few cars to divvy up on presale priority I'd expect you to keep it a closely guarded secret rAther than alert your competition!!!! :)

I haven't gotten my email yet. After I log on to the Toyota site, I still can't select my plug-in color.

Someone asked why there is a super-script next to Blizzard Pearl - It's because it is a three-step paint process and costs more money. It is also a bugger to touch up if it gets scratched. I know, I have a Blizzard Pearl Sienna.

Last time I checked, the pearl white was about $100 more. That may be the case here.

I have yet to get a single one.. Of anything. But I can still sign in and change dealer around and check out the links.

As long as I can still sign in, I'm good.

If I was supporting the web interface (that's what I do professionally for a large non-automotive business), I would have selected a group from within the list available to perform a test-run, to verify all is well prior to the real thing. Doesn't it seem like that was what the survey accomplished? Why not? The data itself would have been a great sampling too.

    John,
Hope you are right about that. BUT it always leaves us wondering if we have gotten lost in the shuffle.
From problems signing up on the first day to some getting emails and others not getting them.

I guess in time we will know the answer ( lost in the shuffle )

I Want my PIP NOW

I would appreciate Erica's response on this question.

John, I follow your thinking, but I see another point of view. Emails are not hard to send nor are they expensive. In this case, the confirmation to the customer that the system is working for them is VERY valuable. I see nothing lost and a LOT gained by sending the emails to all of those who registered. Besides, a response which is complete and not just a sample will be more valid/valuable won't it?

In any case, registrants should be watching Prius Chat. Erica has promised notice and that almost certainly includes someone posting about it here. If you can log in to the Prius PHV site, that will assure you that when it is time to order that you will be able to order even if you do not get an email.

Not all of my buyers watch priuschat. They rely on me for any updates. I can't update folks in my queue of news or changes if I don't know about there BEING news or changes.

Not everyone ordering or buying Prius is here....

And if they are not particularly anxious, there is no problem.

But if your buyers or anyone else wants a source of information about ordering, how hard is it to give them the PC, Prius PHV URL to watch for the next few weeks?
