I retired the first week of August again, my Prius use will plummet now that I do not average 110 miles a day in visits to Region One Mental Health. (They were MY clients, I swear)

I remember the flamers 5-7 years back, many that seemed intent on disrupting the entire site. Many of you know the people that raised hell over religion and politics.

I'm probably not the only one that finds it ironic once Fred's House of Politics was created, those said people started to exit. Their reasons for leaving were probably varied and possibly a few involuntary. I can't resist the thought that many of them left because they were disappointed a much smaller audience would see their trollbait.

 

I ain't with them.

 

I retired in 2002, I retired in 2016. I expect to retire again, but maybe I can make it stick if I find enough volunteer jobs.

Also think the flamethrowers from 5-7 years ago that have moved on since Fred's House of Politics would be a lot more likely in a face-to-face conversation compel the other person to say: "I've got to go..." Most of us have the sense in person or on the phone not to cross that line and end a conversation....the fact those flamethrowers often crossed that line perhaps with delight suggests they may have issues.
