Seems like pretty much all my vaxxes have come in the form of shots, possibly excepting some when I was too young to remember. I've heard of some work on, like, nasal puffs for some things, but never had one. That old TB business with the four pointy tines when I was a kid was kind of weird, but I think that was a test, not an immunization.
Your doc will know about the RSV shot. I was thinking about getting one this fall but as stated before I want a few more lab rats to preseed me. The pneumonia jab was a no-brainer, ad was the shingles. Both have good track records. Your doc will also know about the tetanus jab too, but the 10 year periodicity sounds about right. For a while there it seemed that I was getting one about every other year - so I don't think you will endanger yourself by getting a booster a year or three early. Again...ask your doctor.
I don’t even know what the rsv shot is. I think I read about it on a piece of paper when I got it. Something about respiratory. Once it’s in, it’s in, why look it up. Live wild.
she said she doesn't recommended it for everyone, but we have our grandchildren twice a week, and they are a big source of the virus.
got the rsv shot yesterday. mild headache today, chills, achy, ringing in the ears. slept for 2 1/2 hours this afternoon and feeling a little better. pretty much the same reaction i had to the covid shot.
