Do you have a link? I cannot find it on Rock auto website

Amazon Says it does not fit my 2006 Prius. I think that’s the wrong number you linked to.

I don’t rock auto from my phone but it’s Denso 4531013 over there. Only 1 remaining.
3.79 plus shipping A lot cheaper than 15.09 + tax from the dealer. It’s under the heat & air conditioning tab. Or type in “Denso 4531013” in the search tab. ;)

Is this the same Denso filter? I found it cheaper and never ended up replacing it.

Do people seem to overthink the cabin filter?

The car would do fine without one.

Buy the TYC or the Denso (I provided links earlier in this thread). You can make your own, but at $3.xx for a new one, I don't see what you gain. I think RockAuto even has one or two of the cabin filters in the $2.xx range.

I have made the Rock my new go-to for filters. Their prices on Denso filters (oil, air and cabin) are fantastic. Their shipping charges, mah, and they seem to change drastically every day. But still a bargain.

Hey, I changed the oil on my Prius on Saturday all by myself!

That was a big deal. Of course, I had two strong men hanging about in the event that I had any trouble and I do have to admit that:

    1) I needed their help to make a few last cranks on the jack.
    2) By the time I threaded the oil filter on, my left hand was shaking pretty badly.

I think mine would last about 100k if it were not for the cute little rodents and their happy habit of nesting on top of the filters -- it is actually not the nest -- it's the mouse pee -- that makes replacement necessary.

Your environment makes the difference. I commute from the city out to the ranch in the country. The caliche dust requires I'd swap mine out just a little more often
