Thank you. I'm still trying to understand why cars I owned for years and 100's thousand miles didn't develop a problem....maybe it's the climate where I live?
I saw them taking the rotors along with the pads and they inspected them and yes they did grease them The first time because I can see it through the tires. I even took it to another mechanic who specializes in hybrid cars and he too said that he couldn’t find anything. I think I just need to break it in.
I replaced rotors and brakes before, never made any sounds before nor to be broken in. In fact i had warped rotors which is best to be replaced and not resurfaced. Chances are they didn’t resurface anything, just put new unmatched pads on causing noise and billed you for resurfacing.
I have heard about the bedding process. Maybe that’s what I will do. I will do it and post an update.
