A nice 16 inch alloy wheel would look nice I think! Come on Toyota. But anything is better then those cheesy hubcaps on the '10-'11! 2012s wheel/covers /tires still look smallish.
how much did you pay for yours? Price before TTL and after TTL. Did you purchase from SF toyota? Thanks
After the Evil 19" wheels on my '08 Highlander, a reasonable priced, easy to find tire is nice to have. The 17" wheels require tires that are twice the price and half the life of the 15". I guess I am looking to the Prius to save me money not cost me more.
Like on the RAV4 where it's on the centre console and out of sight unless you look down and back? I don't mind it there. You don't touch it very often anyway and it's out of the way.
Well, for me, I touch it a lot. I adjust left and right outside mirrors to keep an eye on specific circumstances. Coming from a 6-speed manual shift, I like to steer with my left hand and arm, and do everything else with my right. After I get my car, I may look into relocating that little switch panel to the center console, somewhere near my natural hand position.
Comdisco, I can't tell. Your interior is Bisque cloth, right, or is it Light Gray (Misty)? White balance issues makes it hard to tell. Also, I think I understand that Light Gray is not offered in your region.
It's Misty Gray cloth. They've stopped allocating Misty Gray to the Southern California region about a year ago per Dianne Whitmire. The OP lives in San Francisco so I'm not sure about his region. Back then when the 2010 first came out and the SoCal region was allocated V/Fives only with ATP, a number of Northern California dealers were selling the non-ATP Vs so the two regions are obviously different.
This may sound like a silly question because its not really important but i am just curious . Do the wheels of the Prius image in the energie-monitor still move while driving the 2012 ?
Are there other Toyota models that also have the Sea Glass Pearl option? I LOVE the way it looks in the brochure, but I'd like to see one in person before I order one. There aren't very many Prius in my area, so I haven't been able to find one in this color to lay eyes on. Sea foam green is one of my favorite colors, though Sea Glass Pearl is bluer than that. Baby blue would be the kiss of death!
I think the only other Toyota model in this color is the PHEV. If memory serves, the Sea Glass Pearl pictured in the Prius brochure and on Toyota's website is a bit like the "Sea Green" Crayola crayon color. To me, it looks more light blue-green-silvery-greyish than light green. It's neither baby blue nor sea foam green. This seems to be true in most lighting conditions. If you're interested, I have a bunch of photos of the Sea Glass Pearl next to all the other 2012 Prius colors on a local lot. Just send me a PM.
