Wait awhile for inventory to load up and then it's a cash buyers market

Took a weekend trip to Crater Lake in southern Oregon and saw Teslas everywhere. Was a bit surprised to see so many.

I see them one by one as they arrive at the dealership. It’s on the way home from the beach and grocery shopping.

This is one of my favorite angles. It makes the Prius look like a shorter more streamlined car which I like. Probably because it reminds me of the 2009. I certainly see why the back end confuses people. What is this? I still can’t get used to the full on side view for some reason. That’s why I keep stopping by to look at them in person. Exposure therapy! Ha!

What does everyone think of the door edge guards. I understand the purpose but what happens if door gets banged in a few years. What do you do? Get guard removed and replaced with a new one? In this photo it kind of looks like the door guards are meant to be removed before delivery. Like everything I guess you get used to them after a while.

Oh my gosh! This angle reminds me of the all-aluminum - now ¼ century old 3 cylinder Honda Hybrid!

All it needs now is rear fender skirts to complete the look. I think it's because they did away with the rear spoiler.

I was talking about this car the other day but couldn’t remember what it was called! Thanks for posting. I do think the 2023 looks so much better thank goodness! Ha!

Yes this early Civic was not near as wide (being a 2-seater) & it's not an exact match by any stretch - but still there just seems to be something about it ....
All that said it would be interesting if someone comes up with skirts for the prime - it would be quite an interesting look.

Skirts are a Honda thing ,I believe the late Clarity was the last one with skirts , not shure it would fit nicely on the 19 inch Prime wheels

I have yet to see another one here in central FL.

By my calculation there are only ~250 or so XSE in the State, according to my dealer, and some of those have yet to be delivered. Not sure if that's true or not.

There is a PC member here who made his own skirts for his Prius. A genII IIRC.

If those rectangular objects in the middle of the doors are the door guards, then I think they are hideous! My door guards look like the following and are nearly invisible:

That’s the old normal, I know go in there with your checkbook in your top pocket and tell them what you want to pay! I don’t see this at Toyota, dealers still have scarce inventory and selling everything they get?

Ha! More exposure therapy! I LOVE the yellow but that would be way too much attention. :pThere’s something about the silver…it looks ok from the side in direct sun but beautiful when the shadows hit it.

I don’t see this happening for at least a couple of years. Some California dealerships have such long waiting lists they’ve stopped accepting new deposits.

This is all before the general public has seen them on the roads. We’re searching for them and can’t find them.

Except the bZ4X. I visited a dealer yesterday that literally had over 100 in stock. They can't give those away.

That's different .... the BZ4X's cost compared to others charge rate & range can be had for a better price via other manufacturers.

Weirdness today coming out of the Lantana Florida Costco parking lot in my 2023 Prius Prime, I came face to face with a very black 2023 Prius and was immediately behind a red and black 2023 AWD Crown.

Just saw my first G5 in the wild today. Black! I stared hard in disbelief.

    I am not alone...

I see what @Gokhan was whining about. The sleek design makes them look very small, unspectacular even from a distance while moving; basically a blurry bullet - particularly in black. You get a completely different perspective when walking up to one parked. Optical illusion.
