Need your engine block heater installed-West of the Mississippi

I realize that New Orleans isn't exactly the same region as California and Washington, but if you decide to venture out this far on your itinerary, let me know. If you can't come this far, that's OK; I'll give it a shot myself. Just in case, though, do you like fresh seafood?

Even though I'm a handy girl, I would feel better installing this with a group of people. And driving to San Diego isn't practical with me, given my very erratic work schedule.

If you happen to come through Oklahoma City on your route then I would be happy to take advantage of your knowledge, but don't come out of your way to do so. By the looks of the response's you wont be able to make them all in the next couple of years. <grin> Which ever way you go, have a great trip.

How close do you think you will be getting to Northern Utah? I just ordered mine, and I could probably handle the job, but heck, if you might be passing through anyway, I figure I'd like to meet you anyway!

I think you're going to need to do a "Flat Wayne".

Let me explain. Have you ever read "Flat Stanley"? It's a children's book. Well, a friend of mine sent me her daughter as a "flat stanley". The kids laid on the floor and drew around themselves on butcher paper, then colored it, cut it out, folded it up and mailed it....just like Flat Stanley. I was to take her "flat" daughter with me around San Diego and have her picture taken in various places. Sorta like a virtual vacation through "flat" proxy.

Well, Wayne...you have a digital camera, don't you? I think he need to take your digital camera and take a picture of yourself with each Prius and owner in which you do an install. Keep track of the locations. Then they need to be posted when you get home, or maybe even a special page made with a map of the U.S. showing the routes and stops.

This is becoming a real adventure.

Only you won't be "flat"....you'll be there.

 

I live in the Coeur d'alene Idaho area and would make the trip to West Washington (Seattle?) to meet you all and have this done. I've got mine on order. Besides, this would be a nice excuse to travel in my favorite car...!

This Trip Wayne is making is destined to go down in history as the road trip of all road trips.

In Wayne's honor, I wrote a song and made a souvenir map “Wayne goes Westâ€.

I don't know what is worse, that he has to go all the way down to New Orleans (It is west of the Mississippi), that we are dragging him all the way up to the Pacific Northwest, or that he has to double back to go through Oklahoma City.

He will be able to say he has seen the USA. And then he goes East!

Hi Wayne, any chance you'll be making your way to Minneapolis/St Paul? I have three cars that are part of the EBH group buy and very likely two others that are interested.
