Just did DRL's on my 2010 Prius and must say i am impressed! Since I never use the fog lights anyways and I was always wanting some "safety" lights these worked out like a champ! They do not provide much help on the road but they look cool and serve their purpose. Photos Attached.

Bought these low wattage LED's. Important, if you buy these make sure you buy 4 of them. If one goes out your replacement down the road will likely be a slightly different color as the cheaper LED's are made in different batches.

Personally I like the look better than the 2013 ones..

Please post pics of them in full sun, not night shots. ;)

I bet the LEDs are pretty much useless during the day in full sun, which is when DRLs should be highly visible.

I used modified 35w H8 halogen bulbs for my DRLs before doing my highbeam DRL mod and they are much more visible in full sun than using LED bulbs in the OEM foglights.

I will try to get a couple day shots, when i was installing the fog housings in the day you could see the LED's no problem when I tested them. Granted they are not too bright but that is what I wanted. I think 35W is too much for DRL's. I also wanted something with very low draw as not to bring down my 12V batterying too much during my extremely long glide sessions :)

I see your in Honolulu as well, here in the NW we see overcast clouding rainy weather all winter so these will add a little extra visibility when not running the headlamps.

I have 2012 Prius V Five which has no DRL. I was trying the fuse box but no location was giving me the desired results. Only #29 of PCU worked for me where DRL only turns on when I press the Power On button and switches it off when Power is off. I want to know if it is safe to keep it on that location. I noticed that during this activity, MPG and Clock got reset.
