There are many certified paint protection installation facilities throughout the country, various patterns, materials and options for protecting your fornt end paint from chips, sand abrasion and rubs ( don't forget "wear and tear" areas - door edges, door cups, sill plates and trunk ledges) as well as "urban'' protections - doors and rear bumpers.

As for films - there are many and an installer will need to understand if your vehicle is a garage queen, weekend warrior, race tracked or a daily driver - this determines the film selections. There is more information on our site for those interested...

heck, I had a couple chips within the first 2 weeks.

 

They all chip...all except the BMW I traded...when I turned it in the Murano had a serious case of road rash...Get a bra...

 

That's another grand....I'm broke. Will just have to suffer through the chips...and attempt throwing on some touch-up if I'm brave.

 

Evidently it takes longer for the water base paint to cure, I had several chips on my 04 salsa red in the first 6 months but very few over the next 5 years.

It amazes me that they use dark primer on light colors and white primer on dark colors. It sure makes the chips show.

touch-up paint is your friend.
