My turn for a new 12v battery?

    I bought it in June. It was manufactured in 10/03 with about 48k on it and it still had the original battery. Six years is a good life for a battery. Funny thing is that if I didn't have the scangauge then I would have not know that it was going bad. The car ran perfectly fine.

    Many of our trips are fairly short but much of it is not city but county roads 35, 45 and 55mph. It's only been a few days but mileage seems to be 2 to 3 mpg better. Only time will tell.
