My Plug-in Will be Built in March (not April-May)

Thanks, James. I didn't see it. I thought that was a tug parked there.
The PYXIS will probably carry mine to Long Beach.

 

My dealer doesn't know squat. Didn't know the real deal arrived this week. Thinks my build is late March with deliver near May 1. I hope he is wrong.

 

Well my order was confirmed on late afternoon of 11/17 and it still shows production Mar-Apr on the site, though I got the mail saying it would be built in March.

I've heard nothing from the dealer yet, but might be worth making a call this week.

For what it's worth the manufacturing month was confirmed on 2/28/12, but I'm assuming that's what everyone got on this thread.

 

On the online order status for me, it still says April-May production, and just today it included that the Manufacturing month is confirmed 2/28/12. I received the email that says my car will be built in March).

Today I went to the dealer on my way home and -on the dealer online info, it shows that my car is to be shipped on March 26th, and has a temporary VIN for my car.

The Dealer also told me that he has a couple of other plug-in orders which were scheduled to be shipped already but have not yet been shipped. . .

My guess is that your dealer should have access to more information on your order.

 

I have a new date in mine too: "Manufacturing Month confirmed" 2/28/12.

But I don't know what that means. The production window is still Apr/May

I finally was able to talk to someone at the dealer today. My build is scheduled for 3/30. Just squeaking under the wire for the "will be built in March" promise!

Right before they called, I logged into the order site (since I can't help it), and my order had disappeared. I had a momentary panic, logged out and back in, and it was back. Whew.

The order page still shows "Mar - Apr" for the build window, and 2/28 for "Manufacturing month confirmed." My initial order was confirmed on 11/18 around 4 pm.

Mine also says the same thing, but my dealer has the build date of March 28.

PS: can someone tell me how to shade the quoted part as most posts do? Thanks.

 

Email updated - manufacture month was 2-28 - now its a check mark. My Plug-in was built 3-5-12.

 

So... that was yesterday, and today my order page shows that it was BUILT on 3/6! Wonder where he saw 3/30...
