^^^ I had some bubbles on a few areas with the 3M Crystalline that I noticed right after the tint job. One week later and they are all gone. I was concerned with the front where the film goes over that shading material above the mirror. Lots of bubbles there but they have all gone away.

I've been very impressed with the heat rejection of this film. 90% in front and 40% everywhere else really cuts down on the heat, so much so that you notice right away when the sun hits you without the windows up.

For those of you who tinted your front windshield, do you live in a state that requires registration and inspection stickers on the front window? I live in NY and we have them. Im not sure how that works with having your front window tinted.

This past weekend I went back to Danny @ Auto Tint Specialists and got the same 35% all around that I had on my 2012 Gray Prius. This time I have a black Prius. 35% actually looks a lot lighter on a black car.[IMG]

Did you actually mean 30% or 40%, as Greystone is available as GSN 30 or GSN 40, but not 35%?

Hmm...maybe you are right? I always thought it was 35%...These do look lighter in person though, I'd imagine 30% to be darker even though its only 5% difference.

30-40% is going to look pretty light on the Prius because of the large expanse of windows letting in the light. Also, tints can look darker or lighter depending on the interior/exterior colors. If you didn't have the lower rear hatch tinted, you might want to have Danny add that as that'll make the rear end look darker.

Hello Everyone, just picked up my Prius a few weeks ago and am slowly making small mods. I am now thinking of having the windows tinted and wanted to know what others have done with the small window below the spoiler. My first thought was not to tint it as its already tinted, but I wanted to see what others have done. Pictures out the back would be appreciated. Thanks

Some do and some don't. It's tinted 29% in the glass so if you get dark tints you'll want to tint that further to match. Others like myself prefer to tint it further (as to black it out) even with light tints all around.

I'm gonna leave the lower window strip untinted. I had it tinted 35% (or 30%?) on my last Prius and it was a little too dark to see at night.

When having front windscreen tinted with a air blue 80 or crystalline product. Does it affect when lights automatically turn on via sensor in dash. And does all tint have company logo all over tint?

Probably slightly. You can have the sensitivity of the light sensor adjusted to compensate for the lower light.

I planned on adjusting mine after I get my windshield tint if I needed to.

Fingered from my phone using Taptalk version 9 Beta

I was actually referring to when looking out the rear window at night. But that is new info to me that u can adjust the sensor.
