or just paint the tag black.

    also... tint those fogs!

and it is nicely blacked out... murdered out IMHO is flat black. which i think would look sweet too, but involves a lot more money to be done right.

Didn't want to touch the fogs lights. Flat black is an awesome look but I did not want to spend the money on paint or anything else.

Last touches will be the emblems going from blue to red and painting the calipers.

What kind of rims are those?

They have the same paint scheme as the Volk CE/TE Time Attacks.

I started drawing up a design for a "KITT" mod for the Prius. You should do it, I think it would look better on yours than on my white one.

So I had to remove a portion of my headlight tint that covered the HID area.
The tint was bubbling up due to the heat from the light. Anyone who has HID headlights would be wise to leave them alone when it comes to tint.

Anyone in San Diego that sees me, feel free to honk and say hello.
We need more Prius love out there.

    See ya.

I'd say go with a set of black chrome emblems (sigma automotive sells a set). I like the idea of a red "S" on the HSD emblem. It'll be like a wavy "S-Line" from Audi haha.

Nice, Little Italy is a nice place, nice and close to the cruise ship terminal and Seaport Village.

I found something you might enjoy.:mod::mod::mod::mod::mod::mod::mod::rockon:

Nice. I think for mine I am going to go with a darker red to match the accent on my wheels. Still thinking about blacking out the emblems. I kind of like the chrome look since it matches the chrome piece in the front.

    Latest Update:

Had a friend at work do his magic on the HYBRID emblems (as shown above). The red accent was placed on all three hybrid emblems. Also had SDTINT cut the portion of the headlight tint in order to fully expose HID lights. The HID's output was too hot for tint to be on the cover.
Next step is to paint calipers red.

Last step for the car. Bought the caliper paint kit at Kragen. Enough paint to do 10 cars!!!
Calipers painted by the same person who painted the emblems. Caliper kit is made by Dupli-Color. This is the last mod I will do for this car. Thanks for your comments and views. Take Care.

Well, I no longer have a "murdered out" Prius anymore thanks to the San Diego Police department. I received a "fix it" ticket last week for my tail lights and front windows. I did not violate any law or have any movement violations, just tint! I knew I was pushing it so I guess I had it coming. It was fun while it lasted but at least now I can drive around without worrying if cops are nearby. Just doing my part to help California's budget deficit! Here are some final pics before and after the tint removal.

Where'd u get the caliper paint btw? Want to paint mine red...

What would suck is living in a country without laws.
What would suck is if you spent money tinting everything on your car and it was legal then the democratically elected government secretly changed the law and it wasn't legal any more.
Deliberately flouting the law then paying the price doesn't suck, it isn't very smart but it doesn't suck.

I got that caliper paint at AutoZone. It is the Dupli-Color brand.
About $20 and very easy to do. Just make sure you have the proper torque wrench to re-installl the wheels although if you are brave you might be able to paint the calipers with the wheels on.

So I go and get the tint removed , find a cop to sign the ticket off and since he was pretty cool he just asks me if my car was there, does not look at it, and signs the ticket off!
