MY most favorite thing about the Prius is that while trying to get the best MPG, I no longer get speeding tickets! My foot is no longer made of lead and getting there is just as fast because I don't have to deal with the police. Nothing worse than trying to get there on time while speeding and then getting stopped by a cop. Makes for a very bad day.

And I couldn’t be happier with the results. I just put the Gen 3 head on a Gen 4 block. Getting close to 4K miles and it hasn’t missed a beat.

@Ragingfit put the Gen 4 complete engine in a Gen 3 and a Prius v. He has a whole video storyline of it.

The rear underfloor storage compartment has a very nice fitted storage area for the retractable cover. That's where mine lived for both the Gen 2 and the Gen 3. I only assume that the Gen 4 does it also.

Yes, it does - but not when I've got an umbrella and a few other bits and pieces in there :sneaky:.

My Trim Two has the flexible, folding cover with a bag. It is usually too much of a pain to fold, though. I usually either remove it from the car or store it upright behind the front seat when moving excess cargo.

#1 Love the "Zorro" tail lights, even though I never see them unless I happen to pull up behind another Gen 4.

8 years and my third Prius. No worries so far.
Going for a decade of zero serious problems.

    My list:
    1. reliability
    2. zero anxiety when in stop and go traffic
    3. virtually everything saves money (good mileage, cheap insurance, cheap service, cheap parts, tyre sizes are most common and cheap)
    4. environment
