I run two of them in my office and also have never had a problem. I have never heard of a WRT hijack, but I haven't really looked either. Typically problems like this come from old firmware and default passwords. I run Tomato on my WRTs. It lets me use all of the features in the hardware, unlike the crippled code Linksys provides. Tom
Run, (type)msconfig, startup tab. Anything running on your computer when it starts is going to be listed here, un-check everything and restart. Now where did that malware go? The OS is the only thing that needs to start, as you use programs (Itunes, etc) they will open... Now, open control panel, programs and features. Take a good look at the programs listed, one of them is the culprit, anything you uninstall accidental can be reinstalled. jmho, ymmv
