    I missed that! That'll reduce the carbon footprint alright. If I had / when I have my own house in the countryside, I'd go that route myself ..... better for the environment and save a few €s in the long run.

    lol, that wasn't aimed at you Tony. Don't know why the other quotes disappeared. It was aimed at Trollbait and his comment about the smoke stack powering the Leaf.

    But yeah, I too intend to fit a 4kw system to my ol' house once things improve over here. Ignore what Cameron says about the recession being over. It is in London but nowhere else. I'm south facing and have a clear view, so solar would be great. Mrs Cabbie is slowly becomming resigned to the fact that the replacement to her Toyota IQ will be a BEV :censored:
