Yeah I may just go with it instead haha but I just had to get it off my paint.

Yeah I just had to get it off my rear bumper was bothering me. I think I like this bracket now may switch over though. Thanks a lot though.

Nice setup! Any reason why you choose RS*R black instead of the RS*R intelligent sports coilovers? Just curious.

Exactly what accordlayingkit said. The sport doesn't support a good ride at a lower ride height. The black can support an extremely low ride without sacrificing ride quality.

About to order wheels I just don't know what offset to order. That's the only thing that's holding me up! I want 18x9.5 but what offset :( ugh so frustrating and I don't want to spend so much money on something that isn't perfect.

image.jpg Just ordered a set of camber plates and camber bolts imported from Japan. Still no wheels to use these with but had to get them since they were the last in stock in the U.S. :)

Did you get these for 500? ...
I actually inquired about these and think the guy had them imported. He never informed me that they were in stock ( until I messaged him after your thread post) he said he was shipping this set out ( to you ) :-(

Yeah I just emailed him about you, I would assume he would maybe order another set or so. So I'm sure you're not out of luck maybe just for now. Haha I kind of feel bad because I'm not even going to put these to use until I get wheels I just had to get them when I saw the exact set I was about to get from yahoo jp with a broker but this was way easier and dealing with Jin was nice. They were 450 shipped out here in Hawaii.

will upload pics when I get wheels! I'm thinking maybe something like these, but just don't know what offset I want :(

You had a chance to lower the Coilovers all the way down yet? So school me on the rear camper plates if you have a second. Thanks!

Lol, may I suggest 35 in the front and 25 in the rear. Or anything with close to 10 difference in offset. Like 38, 28 . Or even less of difference like 8 between front and rear.

Depends how aggressive you want to go really.

Oh and regards to the camber plates, I appreciate your email to him but dont bother. He quoted me 500 plus tax picked up here in Cali and 450 plus tax without front camber bolts.

Think I will risk ordering from japanese broker.

Just gives you camber in the rear. -3 to be exact. Plates are sandwiched between the hub and suspension beam.

    -camber = uneven tire wear

upside: it allows for wider wheel, tire or -offset to be used

I mean I'd like to get pretty aggressive like that hirokis prius. I think I'm going to have the camber bolts plus the rsr coilovers turned in the front so should have -3.5 in the front and I want to do shims plus the plates in the rear to hopefully get -5.5 camber in the rear. And of course going to pull/roll all my fenders. I want to do a 18x9.5 wheel but you think those offsets would be good? What about like a 32 and 24? That's weird that he quoted you so much he told me if I sent 450$ gift via PayPal he would ship it to hawaii for that. Sounds odd to me since he shipped it all the way out here for 450.

Vehicle camber plates, also called caster-camber plates, consist of a mechanical plate of manufactured steel with slotted adjustment holes that can set an individual vehicle tire at a negative or positive angle. Changing the angle of the tire directly affects the suspension and the turning or handling characteristics of the vehicle. Camber plates are made for any vehicle type and suspension that has the McPherson or coil-over shock design, for front or rear installation

Essentially simpled down it pushes the bottom of the wheel out.

And no sorry I haven't lowered it I actually have to remove my strut and cut my stock bump stop completely out but doing it next weekend so I'll adjust next weekend sorry to keep you on edge. Trust me I'm excited to see how low it will go to! :)

OK cool, thanks for explaining.... so you realized after you installed your Coilovers you should have cut the bump stop?

I know we cut mine when we put on the springs.... so you are going to fully remove them? It won't affect anything?

I'm going either cut them almost all the way down or remove them. I'm probably just going to remove them to be honest because the rsr coilovers came with rsr bump stops. So I figure that will suffice. I'm just going to remove my stock bump stops and use my stock sleeve still.

I like them. I say you go for it, especially if he is giving you a good deal. No waiting, no shipping and you can start the transformation. Can't wait to see your finish product.

Yeah I was thinking the same thing don't have to wait on the wheels to be made and shipped for like three months. Plus may be a good look for a little while.
