    all mods were done while back, just putting the pictures together & editing took the longest time.
    No problem doing yours......since I pretty much done, just few more mods, pictures shy now.

    This one is pretty easy to install, just add a Tap-a-fuse to one of those fuse that uses ACC line detections.
    This mod takes about 30mins to 45mins max.

    Do you mind sharing where you bought the camera and what else you bought for the install? I'm really interested in add the camera to my Prius 2. I was thinking the same as you that they were asking way too much for the few options on a 3.

    Where did you get the exhaust tip? I'm wondering if it comes in other colors and instead of screws, it hugs the whole circumference of the tail pipe.

    I got mine from ebay exhaust from eastar4 | eBay
    (I like this seller ships out fast by ePacket)
    There not many colors to choose from, The one I'm using is the only one I liked from ebay store(s).
    This seller only have "Single bolt installation" exhaust tip, but is straight tip.

    Here is my close-up installation, been awhile now, looks like is holding-up.

    damn! good job on the efforts but why wouldn't you get a fully loaded Prius V instead and then do the few tweaks instead?

    Thanks M3~!, a Prius 5 is great to have, but don't have that kind of money (I wish).
    More tweaks to-do, more fun to-do & I'm getting used to it now where the screws & clips are.
    Prius are fun taking apart......comparing to my '12 Odyssey.

    I installed on the rear doors, the highs was missing and rear speakers was too low. By adding the Infinity Tweeters same location as JBL OEM tweeter now it sounds way better (more alive).
    I like the Infinity 1031t due can be multi-mount (anyway you want) and has great reviews from Amazon.com

    Installs: was simple, remove the door panels, then used the template inside the box.
    Then use a Dremel cut out the circle, then use the Adjustable mount to the panel.

    Wiring: I just T-tap off from the rear speaker wire harness, then secured using plastic-ties.

    Note: Is been awhile since install, I have no problems with ohms, distortions, statics, & pops.
    Enjoying every minutes when I get a chance to drive it.

    Nice, thanks. I've been thinking about doing some sort of an audio upgrade, but the thought of drilling out the oem speakers and building a bracket to mount new speakers ends the thought. From your pic it looks like you left the oem speakers in place. Do the tweaters alone make a big difference?

    Love your mods by the way. Great job and thanks for sharing.

    Thanks! Akima, I was also planned changing out the oem speakers too, but mama said no (since her ride now).
    So I only added the powered sub & the tweeters on the rear, yes it did make a difference.
    You can try adding the tweeters first, if still not good enough then you can always change out the oem speakers.
    To me, Highs are missing in the rear (by ears), once is installed your can hear the difference.
