My 2012 Prius Build (Aka Milf Magnet)

Thanks man! Yea. I've got some surprises coming in from Japan that I might post up today.

 

I use two main companies:

Gtr Garage is my first choice. They've been importing for over 30 years. They import everything from small parts to cars. I mainly use them to order wheels or bigger body parts. My roomate is currently waiting on his R32 to arrive in the states being legally imported by Gtr garage. Gtr Garage can either ship it directly to you or they can ship it in a container from Japan to their US shop in Portland and then ship it to your home address (which is cheaper but you have to wait a little longer). Kunio and his fellow co-workers are very nice and usually respond to you quickly. All of their fees and such are on their website: Gtrgarage.com

The other company is Nengun. They're a little more pricey because they do not offer the container service. So I only use them for small parts that I want imported. On their website you send them the link of the thing you want on yahoo.jp and they upload it on their website.

Pay pal is essential with both of these sites because usually your bank will put a hold on your credit card because you've made a purchase overseas. At least that's what happened to me

Don't get discouraged if you cant find things on yahoo.jp. It takes a bit of digging. I recommend using google chrome because it can translate the page into English for you.

Another nifty tool is using Gtr Garages search for wheels. They have all of the popular wheels on their site and all you have to do is choose one and it takes you directly to yahoo.jp. Pretty easy from there.

Here's a few sets of wheels I have coming in from the motherland using Gtr Garage.

 

A few months back, my amazing girlfriend surprised me with a Jdm piano black Steering wheel. So I think tomorrow or this weekend I'll attempt to tackle that.

Any tips or suggestions? Or pretty straight foreward?
I've done quite a few quick release steering wheels. Never an Oem one

 

No they're 5x114.3 they're going on my Z. The wheels are Rays Lmgt 2's.
I'm going to rebarrel and relip them to 19's and powder coat the faces as well.

Actually they're 5x114.3 but the offset is pretty weak so I'm going to get a perfect size adapter so that it will sit flush to the fender

 

Yea it's just like a spacer with the extra studs at the end but it changes the bolt pattern

Alright here goes nothing. Headed out to the garage to install the Jdm steering wheel and Hood Dampeners
I have the other stock steering wheel to get ride of the phone bluetooth buttons on the left side of mine since I don't use them.... Plus I'm a little OCD about symmetry. haha
