Sounds like the standard PiP substitute for a check engine light. But it has to stay on to read a code. If it goes away after a few minutes, it sounds like your 12V battery is about to die. If I had my guesses my bet would be a "soft short" in the 12V battery.

This sure does sound like the "approach warning" of PCS/DRCC. There are conditions listed (p. 340 in my '14s manual) where false triggering can occur.

Or, you might have a defective radar sensor.

can you upload this picture? on my there is only the sensor for the radar with a picture of my car and 3 lines and as the distance gets closer the lines disappears. However, I know that when you need to hit your breaks because you are too close it is a different warning and the alarm sound goes off. This doesn't have the alarm sound and as I said before in my original tread that it is the rear of the car that is shown. there is no other picture of this in my manual showing a "!" with a rear of my car in the display. Also I do not have rear sensors.

I had my car checked completely from front to back and the on board computer and nothing is stored as an error.

I don't have a picture of it either. Oddly, they don't detail the PCS/DRCC displays well.

But I think it's not intended as a picture of the back of your car; rather, it's a picture of the car (it thinks) you are about to run into. ;)
