Your honor - that presumes facts not in evidence. My questions are almost ALWAYS genuine.

Let the record show that the respondent states not all his questions are genuine. This leaves open the possibility of the action of "trolling" as put-forth by the plaintiff @bisco. :p

I thought that it was a cool feature, but my Prime doesn't do it. The screen doesn't change AM/PM and the headlights on the graphics are not turning on.

Is your screen in "DAY Mode"? It should dim at night (the nav map becomes black and the screen brightness is lowered).

20170219_162151.jpg The tooling for the plastic 15" wheel covers on our Primes have existed since October 2015.
See the dots in the month and year boxes in the photo.

Does anyone know what vehicle used these wheel covers before the Prime got them? I know the wheels themselves have been around since the 3rd generation Prius was introduced in 2009. So these aluminum wheels have used at least 4 different wheel covers.

    Interesting.
    Here are some obscure questions:
    • What is the purpose of the 2 paralllogram covers in the front bumper cover?
    • Do the side hybrid badges have pins?
    • Does the rear PriusPrime badge have pins?
    • After the display is turned off, does it intermittently come back on to display radio station info when the radio is scanning?
    • Does the front seat fold flat? Level with the folded rear seats?
    • Where are the speakers located? What sizes and types of speakers are they?
    • What is the length of the driver-side wiper blade? Passenger-side?

I came across something when looking the car over. There is a secret compartment. If you open the hatch and are facing the car it is on the right side just next to the little light switch. I guess it contains a manual lever you push in in case your charger won't disconnect from the car. Nice tid bit to know.

One thing I have not been able to find out is what the button is on the dash, left side, down by the assisted parking button, and screen light/dark button. It has a pic of a car on it with what looks like swirving marks behind it. Anyone know what that is? Can't find it in the 800 page booklet.

Yep, sometimes you want the wheels to spin.

It's the traction control and VSC off switch. (Press once for TCS-off, press and hold for VSC-off)

The L1 EVSE the car comes with uses 14AWG wire, and is exceptionally flexible (high strand count wire).

The built in battery charger is a unity-power-factor device.

14gauge - wow that's almost in the realm of flimsy when contrasted w/ some of the other plugin manufacturers' L1 portable EVSE's. For example, Nissan's L1 cable is sufficiently hearty enough that it's regularly modified (he installs a switching power supply & other new hardware) by an engineer in the San francisco bay area so it can deliver (via 208v or 240v) more than 2X the wattage that the OEM originally designed it for. But yea, i do like the fine strand flexibility that's even available all the way down to 0 gauge & lower.

The symbol of the car with squiggly lines is the Lane Departure Alert switch. Turns it on and off.
