Most Boring Thread

I didn't know you used to live in Wisconsin. I visited that area recently. Saw the Eagle Center. Now I wonder whether eagles prefer black squirrels or white squirrels.

 

I spent three years in Wisconsin, then another 25 in Minnesota, before moving here to WA, 11 years ago. I was born in Southern California.

I just cleaned something like 30,000 bits of email out of my gmail account.

 

My fortune cookie says, "You are talented in many ways."

 

I didn't get a job I applied for.

I'm not sure if I'm happy or not about it. I think I might be relieved. But, I'm also a little let down. :huh:

 

Update: I now have grass growing in my front yard as well!

Over a year since I finished my toilet paper study and I still have toilet paper left over.

 

I have no response to that.

 

Notwithstanding your landmark study on toilet paper, my personal preference for TP is the current iteration of the Scott 1000 sheet roll. The current iteration of Scott's is thicker and softer than the Scott's we grew up with, and A LOT thicker and softer than the store-brand 1000 sheet rolls. So IMO, Scott's is now the best overall TP to get ... reasonably soft, perfect thickness (I don't like the really thick ones ... they feel like you're wiping yourself with a rug), still strong (less unintended ripping), still "septic safe" so it doesn't clog up my toilet or septic system, and still cheap (I get it on sale for 50 to 69 cents a roll).

 

OMG I can't believe this thread still lives. What's wrong with us?

Yes, but I have two little Prii that are unspotted! Oh, but I don't think the shark fin antenna is dishwasher safe, either.

Top rack, drip dry, which is ... close enough! That's the standard I aspire to these days. To wit, I'm drinking Three Buck Chuck out of a yellow plastic kid's cup from Ikea. I'm not kidding:
