I think you meant Sandra Day O'Connor. Normally, I wouldn't have mentioned this. But given this thread's title, it seemed appropriate. In other news, I don't know what moxie means with her lament about the absence of "real" iced tea in Australia. I would have thought that some of the terrific bottled iced teas from China and Japan (which I assume are widely available in Australia) would have been satisfactory to her.
No Sandra Day O'Connell is a girl I went to high school with. You are thinking of the former Supreme Court Justice. They should have real ice tea down under. Moxie needs to teach them the error of their ways.
Sandra Day O'Connor's husband has Alzheimer's disease. And I just noticed that "Sandra Day O'Connor's" has two apostrophes. I am kind of obsessed with inappropriate use of apostrophes, so I noticed that.
i often find i have to send back maybe 1 or 2 24oz cans out of 96 of arizona ice tea for credit because the cans feel "squishy" and do not feel as full as the other cans
Yesterday after work I brought in the garbage can from the lane, made supper, did dishes, played Dad's taxi, then went back to work for a couple of hours. Yeeha.
I still haven't decided what to do about my tooth. This tooth had been snatched from the brink of a root canal about 15 years ago, did fine, but apparently the filling was degrading over the years. Last year, the dentist told me that the filling had cracked, and needed to be replaced. Early this year, I went in, and the dentist tried to talk me into getting it crowned. I refused. He grumbled, but filled it with that fake tooth colored stuff, and warned me that there really wasn't enough tooth left to hold it well, and that it would break and I'd have to have it crowned. Well, it's broken now. Just the one corner. Doesn't hurt, the filling is still there, it's not sensitive... I don't want a crown. Ever. I have serious reservations over "business as usual" in anything like medical or dental practices. So, do I just wait for the rest of the tooth to crumble apart, get it pulled, and then have this hideous gap in my mouth? Do I surrender and have it crowned? Is there another option for me? These are the questions that are occupying my mind this week. Oh, and the tooth is the second tooth back from my canine, upper left. You can't see the part that's missing without a mirror.
If the filling deteriorates more and if you can afford it, I'd get the tooth crowned. It's expensive. But a lot less expensive than losing the tooth, getting an implant and then getting a crown. Also, is there a dental school that you can go to, to get lower priced dental work?
It's actually not the cost. I've always been so vain about my teeth. My teeth were absolutely PERFECT for so many years, then they started to get cavities, and now I'm facing a crown vs losing the tooth. I really thought that I'd always have this fabulous smile....
An hour and a half to go and the Dow is up 300 points ... I can almost taste that cheesesteak now ... ummmmm ....
