I found the Xenonsupply conversion kit to work as advertised. But it is important to understand that they are a universal kit. There are unused connectors on the wiring harness, bulky adapters and no instructions for a Prius C. They work as well as I expected, bright, white, with a well defined pattern. I called for support on a Saturday, left an answer, never received a return call. I figured it out eventually. I am not alone with this, as a neighbor with a Prius Liftback had similar issues. I showed him my installation and he proceeded to complete his installation. In cold weather they take 20-40 seconds to warm up to full brightness. Our Honda S2000 and Toyota Venza come on almost immediately. (Both factory installed). I have not been flashed by other cars. I am very happy I have them.

Is it actually green like in the picture? Or is it more blue-ish?

My same 55W is driving the bulbs up to 5000K (from 4500K) so it's pretty white not green or blue to me.

I'm running 35w Morimoto's 5000K in my current car with the canbus and couldn't be happier with the ease of installation, quality of everything, the retrofit source themselves and color output of the bulbs. I read too many bad stories about xenosupply and would recommend Morimoto's to anyone.

I see nothing that looks green in that light. 5000k will be blueish. Even the stock ones are blue if you look at them right. Not sure what the stock ones are rated but much over 3500 will have blue tint.
Wish I could see these in person. My stock dims are plenty bright but apparently there is some room for improvement.

I first saw the post from my phone, the phone made it look greenish. But after looking at it from my computer, it looks normal, no green. Odd. Sorry for the confusion.

LOL, you had me looking at that picture from all angles. I just could not figure why a 5000k light would have green in it. Thanks for clearing that up. I too look at a lot of stuff with my iphone which does not show things as well as a larger screen. I need to study up on these lights.

well you have to take into consideration that i just installed the hids. meaning that the hids still need like a "break-in" period. they will get somewhat whiter. but im happy with the current color. output looks almost white.

and yes, the stock output light is much better than most cars out, but with hids, its even better!

So does DDM also have the shadow problem? And is it plug and play like the Xenonsupply?

ddm does not have the shadow problem! i am using a ddm 55w kit in my C1 and it was a quick install! maybe took like 20 mins. hardest part was getting my big hands to twist the bulbs in. save the money and get a DDM kit.

I haven't had a problem with shadowing on mine... it's about as generic as you can get.
