Last year, I ended up buying my mini-Vci cable & software off of uobd2.net or something like that. All I know is I paid $34 (included shipping from overseas, I think it came from China) and I use it all of the time.

Installing Techstream can be interesting.. have to move files around, etc... I just re-installed it yesterday on my laptop and it took a little bit of finaggling for it to stop asking for an activation code. But in the end, I got it with a little help from my good friend Google :D

All in all, Techstream + mini vci cable = Prius owners best friend.
    You can:
    *Program key fobs
    *Reset TPMS sensors
    *Read fun hybrid battery values
*Read so much live data your eyes will hurt...lol
*See body and enhanced codes that most universal scan-tools available to the general public could never retrieve on their best day
*Maybe never have to go to the dealer again!

    Question,

Will this product be able to read all codes, Such as the hybrid battery traction codes, Air Bags, Brakes.
Along with being able to clear - delete the codes when needed?

I have a OBD2 scanner and I see its only really good for some engine codes and some battery codes.

    Thank you,

I bought this one and it works fine (after manually loading drivers on my 64bit laptop, and merging the registry addition found online).

It also came with a 8.xxx version of TS.

That also is the version I bought, running on a MacBook Pro, w/ Boot Camp and Windows 7 32 bit OS (I originally loaded the Win 7 64 bit OS version, but the 64 bit workaround didn't work when I tried it so I had to buy Win 7 32 bit OS.)

Congrats on the purchase but it doesn't matter what version software it comes with because the latest version is available online for download.

    Dropbox - Techstream

Lots of great info on mini VCI in this thread too.

Just purchased Mini VCI w/latest TechStream V10....for under $15 from AliExpress. Manually loaded the driver onto a Win 7 64-bit computer. Everything seems to be fine thus far.
