Warm seats in the morning! Nice! Not an option over here (NL). Only saw the light once, a few weeks ago. Since then it's been pretty warm, well ~10 °C or so. And as long as you keep the interior warm, the battery will get some of that heat as well.
I see the "snowflake in the road" warning light every day when the car does its start-up checks. . . thank God it turns off after a few seconds! Another benefit of living in California. Later this month the light will be warning me with: "Caution, Squaw Valley Ski Resort fast approaching." I guess it's a matter of latitude and attitude whether seeing the snowflake light is a good thing or not.
