Loved my Prime, but battery range pushed me to Honda Clarity

    I'm not seeing any 2020 models from any manufacturer appearing yet:
    IRC 30D New Qualified Plug-In Electric Drive Motor Vehicle Credit | Internal Revenue Service

    But the 2019 Prime is listed, and only Tesla Inc. is marked as undergoing the phaseout. So barring some new tax provision that isn't yet publicly known, at least to us here, the 2020 should also qualify.

    The tax credit should still apply. It just looks like they haven't updated the site with the most recent model year.

    The only times I would worry if the tax credit still applied are if:
    • Its a new model that hasn't been listed by the IRS yet, or
    • Its under one of the manufacturer's with "Phase Out Initiated" next to their name
