Lithium problems to cause stress?

    Lithium is a many splendored thing. All jokes aside, it's a Godsend to people and families of those people who are bipolar.

    The same arguments were made years ago about the material in catalytic converters .... (magnesium as I recall).

    Personally, I really liked the NiMH battery in my 2010. Quickly charged, no degradation in 130,000 miles that I could tell, no threat of fires, no overheating problem and etc. And, I have read where engineers are now doubling the energy potential. Obviously I am just repeating what I have read, but I'm sure that Lithium will not be the only chemistry in the future.

    NiMH will need the improved capacity. While it has pluses, nickel is more scarce than Lithium
