Have moved around a lot.

Grew up in Ottawa, IL
Now in Waldorf, MD
This summer moving to Harker Heights, TX
2008 Prius II, Magnetic Gray Metallic. 38k miles and purchased extended warranty to 75k miles/8.5 years. Should reduce mileage drastically when I get to TX.

Previous car was 2007 Jeep Rubicon (recalls that included it stalling out twice on the DC Beltway!)... Purchased in TX then moved to DC...not a good DC car. Had always felt 'forced' to give up my toy, a 1962 CJ5 Willys Jeep in 1992 when I wasn't making much and needed to use it as a trade for a more economical car for commuting to school. Bought a 1990 Pontiac Grand Am which I kept till 2002 and over 200k miles when I had to give it up because it was leaking oil faster than I could pour it in!

After the Grand Am; 2000 Saturn SL2, 2004 Ford Ranger Edge, then the Jeep and followed by the Prius. The Prius is by far my favorite of all of them, although the Grand Am will always have that special place held by the first car bought on my own.
