Let the ICE run or shut it down?

Evan makes a good point. With normal cars, most people drive like mindless zombies. We have all driven for so long we don't give it a second though. Climb into a Prius, on the other hand, and everything is new and different: motors whining, the engine coming on and off, and all displayed for your viewing pleasure on a big, bright screen. It's no wonder that many new Prius drivers over-think the experience.
