Here's the LEDs that I had. I think they were about 60 watts each.

When I'm driving at night and a 2024 Range Rover's OEM LED headlights are comparable to my HID kit...I just think about all the repair costs and car payments I'm saving on. Not to mention the gas mileage I'm getting at the same time. :)

Here's the other thing to remember...you get what you pay for. You go on Amazon and buy a cheap $40 HID kit, you're just looking for trouble. That's why alot of folks are dissatisfied with their upgrades or modifications (or worse, damage or ruin their car). You get what you pay for. I'm not saying the most expensive is always the beta either, but you have to do research and use your best judgement.

I prefer the ROAD be illuminated, not the air. Perhaps they need to be ajusted lower?

They've been adjusted properly. What I was trying to say is that if I'm at a stop light right next to—say—a 2024 Range Rover, I compare the brightness of my headlights on the road ahead of me versus the Range Rover right next to me. The brightness on the road is about the same in comparison. I know it's not an accurate comparison, but what I'm saying is I get bright and modern headlights, but don't have to pay for the price of a new car just for functional and bright headlights.

I got them on their Black Friday sale for about $180. Plus their regular price has gone up about $30 since I got them last year. I'm glad I got them when I did.

No, I did get the anti flickering capacitor. I didn't want to spend any more more than I had to... (@ASRDogman ) And I decided that if for some reason I needed it because it flickered after I installed the kit, than I would just have to get it later. But it has been running perfectly fine and not flickering at all just by itself. I believe that capacitor is mainly for the higher end cars with the bulb out information technology, which our Priuses don't have.

You could get the 35w, but I wanted the brightest possible. The 50w is brighter than the 35w.

I agree with @ASRDogman that it is a big price tag. But like he said, it's your car and your money. I didn't want to have to spend that much on just light bulbs, but after trying different options that didn't work, I decided to just do it. I will say it was worth the money in comparison from what the factory halogens produced. If u didn't do much nighttime driving, than I probably would not have gotten them due to the cost, but the cost to me is worth it in comparison to the brightness and how much nighttime driving I do. It just depends on what you are looking for and how much you want to spend.

Thank you, so I don't need to worry about blinding the oncoming traffic by putting the Morimoto HID in the low beam Projector-style headlight, mine is 2012 prius v Wagon

what is involved in adjusting them?

There is an adjustment screw on the back of the headlight for adjusting, but I ended up not having to adjust them. I had my original halogens projected on the garage wall, then installed the Morimoto HIDs and the cut off was in the same place as the halogens, so I didn't have to adjust them. It might be different for your's, but you'll have to see. And then go from there. But if you end up having to adjust them, it's pretty simple.

Here's a video that will explain the adjustment.

I haven't. I personally had the Lasfit LS Plus H11 bulbs. I had the model from a year ago. I got the brightest I could get from them. They lasted about a week and then died. I wasn't happy with them, and those were the ones that I mentioned with the LEDs in in the picture above. A change of color, but no definite hotspot in the beam. I personally believe that LEDs are best in a reflector style headlight housing and HIDs are best in a projector style housing. Our generation of Prius have low beam protector style and high beam reflector style.
