    Rear wiper delete - For a much sleeker look!

    - only recommended in climates (I'm in SoCal) where the rear wiper is rarely used or needed.

    After removing the wiper assembly - again with a 10mm socket - I used a painted gloss black 1" electrical junction box punch out - sealed with a waterproof silicone.

    are those spacers what discount tire refers to as wheel adapters for aftermarket rims? I looked at all the compatible rims they had listed and they were all quoted with adapters, at the same time I remember asking them about spacers a while back and they said they don't even work on cars with spacers, liability stuff???!!!!!!!!
    do any of you know what the stock wheel specs are? as in bolt pattern and hub diameter? I understand the backspacing is 45mm, 15 inch and 6 wide and they weigh roughly 14 pounds.

    You don't touch the under-fender on speed-bumps ?
    I curently have 205/55/R16, and on hard speed-bumps I hear touching.

    Stock G2 Touring wheel is 16x6 has an 45 offset, 54.1 Center bore
    Stock G2 Standard wheel is 15x6 has an 45 offset, 54.1 Center bore

    Pretty sure what they sell are wheel ring adapters. These take the stock 54.1 to whatever size the aftermarket wheel has.. so ex: Oem 54.1 -> aftermarket wheel with 73.1 would need these rings: Hub Centric Rings 73 1 54 1 Toyota Celica Corona Matrix MR2 Prius Set of 4 | eBay

    No rubbing on fenders - as I mentioned, 1. I have rolled fenders. 2. You have to remember I'm running Ground Control Sleeves with a custom spring rate in the rear - stiffer than most.

    But, because I'm so low, I go pretty slow over speed bumps. The only issue I have currently is my Tanabe Sustec Front Under brace TUB151F hitting on the speed bump if I go over it too fast. If I ease over them, no issues, if I go a little too fast, you can hear the impact of the bar on the bump - sounds awful.

    personally I would consider 14's with taller aspect ratio if I had a choice, and the multiple pattern 5 extra holes I'm not a big fan of, or vheels with spokes at an angle looks good on one side weird on the other in other words, lighter than stock, smoother ride, looks like it belongs or it was made for it, also debated painting them to match the body collor, I also don't like the extra fender clearence, all my other cars have oversized tires, just plans at the moment
    how much of an offset do you think I can get away with to achieve close to what you did without spacers or rolled fenders, on stock size, I seen 35 was questionable among other posters, but they were likely reffering to 17 - 18s
    Wheel Details - Discount Tire if only this did not have the extra 5 holes, how tall was stock sidewall I think I have 195/65 r15 too bad it's a narower rim, 225/75 14? wonder if that size is available looks like a 35 backspace ar so I beleve the 35 at the end stands for

    The Wiper blade is held on by a 10mm nut that is hid by the plastic cap that most people have modified to free the wiper from not being able to pull the blade/arm away from the glass. With the cap removed you can undo the 10mm nut. However the wiper arm requires a bit of tugging (at least on mine) to get it to release from the motor shaft. After I removed the arm without breaking the glass, i started popping off all the interior paneling on the underside of the trunk lid. The wiper motor has a quick disconnect wiring that I zipped up after I unplugged it to keep it from rattling around. Then several 10mm nuts later that were very easy to loosen the motor came free of the trunk lid. The only relatively hard part was pulling the wiper arm off the motor shaft.

    and even tho this is a Gen3...the directions are pretty much the same. Just haven't verified the 1 3/8" hole vs my 1" metal punch out holes... They are only like $1...

    That's great Rodney! Very inspiring! You're right about the wiper arm being stubborn, I think a few drops of penetrating oil would have helped.
    As of now I have a little black rubber boot stuck on with some silicone covering the stud. It looks like a little antenna!
    I noticed in my owners manual that that interior cover needs to be removed to change the license plate lamp also. So now all I need is a 1" KO blank...

    You should be able to find the hole cover in the hardware aisle of either HomeDepot or Lowe's. I found mine in the drawers of all the specialty hardware items.

    Around here with random spontaneous speed bumps, that we call potholes. I would be going through a set of tires every few weeks...

    Belated reply: These (Energy Suspension Bushings with grease fitting) are what I have on my car. There was not enough clearance for the grease fittings. If you try to install these, they won't fit. I had to remove the grease fittings to make them fit. If I had it to do again, I'd just buy the bushings/brackets for the Matrix/Corolla front sway bar from Toyota. Just the rubber bushings won't do, you also need the metal brackets as they are a different size than the original Prius brackets.

    BTW, I just greased the Energy Suspension bushings with the tube of grease that came with them (shown in the above picture). I've had these bushings in for a couple of years now. No noise or squeaking.

    Also, I really love the way my car handles with the new front/rear sway bar combo. Highly recommended.

    Posting this again in my thread: Recalibrating ECU for different tire size Revolutions Per Mile??

    Has anyone made more headway in this area of questioning?

    Does the small percentage of difference in the tires size as Ken mentions below fall within the percentage of allowed error? Or is there a chance the touring ECU is programmed differently from the base Prius because of the difference in tires 185/65R15 vs 195/55R16?

    Just wanting to know for those including myself that may make any changes to the tire size...could effect correct odometer reading, mpg...ect.
