Haha Gardener, KS is near where i grew up.

As long as you pick up part numbers 48811-AB010 or the newer 48811-AB011 from Toyota...or save money and snag a 2002-2008 Matrix or 2002-2010 Corolla front sway bar from a junkyard...All 24mm front sway bars that will work with the 2004-2009 USDM Prius.

According to the ad, the part numbers match up.

Wow --Very impressive list of mods- and am I glad you are local (y) I am a newbie with '07 touring.

So what has been the mods/updates you have got which you think had biggest impact on MPG and drive?

TintWorld coming thru last night with my Gloss Black roof vinyl wrap.

Jay, the owner did an awesome job, even stayed past 8pm to make sure it was everything was how we had discussed. Highly recommend checking out the Vinyl wrapped M5, their Stereo showroom or if your looking to have tint work done, check them out if your in SD.

Improved flow overall with my custom intake. Been said by a co-worker that it sounds throaty like a VQ engine but deeper. The hybrid battery charges up faster, no MPG update yet on my 2007 but it improved quite a bit with my 2008. Definitely feels quicker, but no dyno proof of course. Really feel like the OEM headers, the (2) cats, resonator and muffler as well as the reduced piping size really limited the potential of the little 1.5L.

    Removed OEM 1NZFXE steel header
Installed a 1NZFE DCSports Ceramic header #SHC4401 with custom welded flange
    Removed (1) OEM catalytic converter
    Removed (1) OEM resonator
Installed (2) 4" round Magnaflow mufflers #10414 directly behind O2 sensor
    Mandrel bent 2" piping
Custom dual loop muffler created from (2) 4" round Magnaflow mufflers #10414 and Magnaflow's exhaust tip #35168

So I was watching a video last night of a BMW front Sway Bar installation, and they used poly-busings. I know you had poly-bushings installed previously but couldn't get over the squeaking noise the poly-bushings made. In the BMW video they used a product Liqui Moly LM508 Anti-Seize compound (go to 9:50) of the video:
They coat it all over the poly-bushing to stop any squeaks.

Have you tried that compound on your polys or did you just use regular grease? Here's a link to the anti-seize compound on amazon. -- Give it a try, it might work?

    BavarianAuto, 10 Months ago:
...We have found that the Liqui-Moly copper anti-seize compound performs better than silicone grease, in the long run. Less wear of the urethane and less potential for squeaks.

I got the squeaks to go away on my 2008 when i replaced the bolts to the bushing bracket and re-tightened them down to 14lbs of torque per spec. I haven't installed one on my 2007 yet because the one I had on the 2008 got damaged when I totaled it. Once I get one and install it, I'll b using the same grease that came with the previous poly bushings.

Wow! Cool, 14 lbs it is! :) I'll have to loosen mine up and see if that makes the squeakiness to go away.
My poly bushings don't squeak until I drive over a pothole or speed bump. When it makes noise though it sounds awful!
    Thanks Justdidit!
