Normally I'm willing to part out the OEM touring parts - sway bars and what not that I've taken off my car... - however because the 16" wheels are pretty lightweight to begin with, I will most likely keep them for autocrossing as the 19" wheels are so freakin heavy.

    Thanks!

The Photoshop picture you put up of your car with spacers helped me decide b4 I upgraded my wheels to go with such a wider stance. Your mock-up was pretty spot on what my car looked like with the 15mm up front and the 30mm in the back.

She gave her life for mine....

I had just finished my DC Header fitment, my full Magnaflow exhaust minus 1 Catalytic converter, OEM resonator and muffler. Just modified the grille with a DIY black mesh...swapped back my oem rims so I could take it to the autocross track. My last tank averaged 50.3mpg doing 75mph (mpg went up with the car breathing better) - up from 48 with the modified intake. Some guy (my guess late for work) ran a red light made a left hand turn in front of me. I tried to dodge him, avoided a head on collision but swiped his car enough to where the car looks to be totaled. I hope not. Hopefully I can breathe life back into the lil car. She treated me well. I'm lucky to have my health. Walked away with a hyper-extended neck and only neck and back muscle spasms.

I know - i can only hope the frame is still straight. I hit 'em pretty hard tho. Might give me a reason to get some more mods done tho... :)

hey look at the bright side, your fine which is the most important part! and maybe if they do total it you can look into getting a gen3! I would also pull of all the mods and put it back to stock with it totaled.

wow. that sucks. make sure to tell his insurance company your neck hurts. and make the scumbag's insurance co pay to fix it right if its not totalled. i would want to get my own estimate or 3 rather than trust his ins to give a fair estimate.

Not much to it really, with the bumper off the car, I used a hacksaw blade to cut out the OEM grille and a dremel to smooth up the edges. Bought some cheap gutter guard from HD and used a rivet tool to fasten the gutter guard to the bumper in the grille area. I used PlastiDip to paint the surrounding area. Liked the look - much more aggressive.

Got the exhaust removed from my 2008 - waiting for a good wknd to swap it over to my 2007.

DC Sports ceramic Yaris Header, custom flange with 1 stock catalytic converter still remaining with the 2nd catalytic converter and resonator replaced with (2) 4" magnalfows in their place.

at the risk of alerting others to the cheap stabilizer bar, can someone please confirm if the following is the right one for a 2006 prius ?

Front Sway BAR With Bushings Brackets Hardware FOR 02 11 Corolla Matrix FWD | eBay

this is a great price, considering that it also includes the brackets and bushes (and the links that i wouldn't need)

i just don't want to buy something that i will have to get shipped from the USA to australia, and discover i have brought the wrong item...

    thanks in advance,

    Jason
